Have you ever wondered how much you will earn if you drive a car wrap ads? Would you take risks and try it out in the first place? What would it look and feel like driving a car wrapped with ads?

Out-of-Home-Marketing (OOH) is a type of advertisement most people commonly see outside their homes. These are the ones you see in vehicles and pavements when you jog in the morning or when you walk in the streets. The catch in these advertisements is that they linger in the audience's memory for a long time.

Today, most businesses combine marketing with technology. Before, static ads such as billboards are the next-level advertisements, but today, moving ads is the game-changer. By utilizing digital platforms that a wide variety of audiences can scope, you can see ads now, almost everywhere!

However, it's not surprising that car wrapping is getting more popular these days since companies seek out marketing methods in the physical world on top of the virtual one the digital media provides. Also, car wraps can be a good source of additional income to cover a portion of your expenses without absolutely doing nothing!

In this Carvertise review, let's talk about making money and producing income-generating assets.

What is Carvertise?

In 2012, Mac Nagaswami founded Carvertise– the advertising company that rents out the outside surface of a car to drive around cities with active campaigns. They usually wrap the biggest portion of your vehicle without, of course, obstructing the view of the driver.

Carvertise has claimed to be the most prominent car advertising company in America and has helped Americans earn a little while doing what they regularly do every day.

Aside from that, Carvertise usually pays their drivers a specified fixed amount per month, which means that your income won’t change no matter the mileage you took your car for a drive.

You need to drive around the campaign zone for the minimum required distance to earn a little to cover fees like auto expenses and gas.

Carvertise Review: Getting Started

Basic Driver Requirements:

  1. Applicants should be of legal age and can drive at most 30 miles or 48 kilometers a day. (This is a mandatory requirement which means those who only drive on occasions or on just short routes will be eliminated; however, drivers for delivery services are welcomed by Carvertise to boost their income)
  2. They should possess a clean record for driving. Since you are advertising goods and services, Carvertise wants to have good and clean records for drivers promoting their clients.
  3. Should own a 2008-present model vehicle.
  4. An electronic device for running the application and receiving updates.
  5. There should be no damages to the paint job of the vehicle.

Aside from that, here's the step-by-step guide in joining at Carvertise.

Step #1: Download the Carvertise app.

The Carvertise app is available on Android and Apple Playstore. Open it and tap the “become a driver” button.

#2: Fill in your details.

After you download the app, fill in the information sheet with the necessary identification details like your name, phone number, email address, and location.

Step #3: Car information

Share your current car information like what year model, model name and color, etc.

#4: More details about driving behavior and miles

Input the average distance that you travel on weekdays and weekends.

#5: Share and input the info whether you work for other driving companies

Inform the company of whether or not you work for rideshare or any food delivery service. This is a good option and means to earn money since Carvertise allows you to work for a rideshare and delivery services company. All at the same time, double streak money!

#6: Finishing up

Tell them about why you chose Carvertise and where you have heard about them.

The trickiest thing in signing up for wrap companies is that there isn’t a hundred percent chance for you to get an offer from companies since there are instances wherein there is no offer currently available in your area. That is why if you live in the busiest streets, you have a better chance of receiving an offer to market a company’s goods and services.

Once you receive an offer, the driver has two options. They are free whether or not to accept the offer since drivers have their preferences in choosing the companies they want to advertise for, and Carvertise’s business model, on the other hand, allows drivers to be flexible in the offers coming their way. However, an offer is an offer.

You’d still get to earn the money that you could use for some expenses. If you accept the offer, Carvertise will then send your car to professionals installers to wrap advertisements for your vehicle. They will also take it off after the end of the campaign period, which usually lasts between two months to half a year.

How does it work?

carvertise review: carvertise web page

Let me share with you a general overview of how Carvertise works.

First, an applicant gets interviewed about basic questions like their driving experience, habits, how often they drive within the day and where they usually drive, or places they typically pass by every day.

Second, they try to match-ups with companies who approve of the applicant's record, i.e., their driving habits.

Third, Carvertise wraps your car for free. This is the one good thing about these advertisement companies—they help you earn money and not just give it to expensive advertising companies. They advertise the brand, and they help lives. You received a fixed monthly payment directly deposited into your bank account

Lastly, after the campaign period, the wrap on the car is removed, reverting it to how it looks like before, which means you now have the chance to get back to your good old regular driving life. (or you can join again sometime!)

When you advertise for Carvertise, you will get to earn an average of $100 per month. Usually, these campaigns are short-term and could last up to six months.

However, you’d still get an extra income for other expenses, so it’s not a bad deal after all. There are also side hustle taxes which are about 30% income withholding tax.

Therefore, if you want to earn a higher income, this is not the right gig for you.

Moreover, getting campaigns depends on whether or not there are available offers around, and if there are, the companies themselves choose the people to whom they want to give a bid.

Lastly, the incredible thing about Carvertise is that you could earn little money for some short expenses.

Carvertise Review 2021

Carvertise's purpose is to help you earn a little while you drive every day- for free!

So it’s not a good source of stable income as some campaign periods are temporary. There are also pretty several drivers around, which means competition is high, so there’s a possibility that not all drivers will receive offers or have the same pay.

The only difference between Carvertise and Wrapify is payment variation.

In Carvertise, you need to drive around the campaign zone for the minimum required distance. As such, this can be an “extra-income” income platform for you to earn a little to cover fees like auto expenses and gas.

Wrapify, on the other hand, allows you to earn more. This is because the farther the distance you travel within the campaign zone, the higher the pay.

Is Carvertise legitimate?

Carvertise Review: Carvertise is widely recognized in America, and they have also claimed to be the biggest wrap advertising company. The company has received good reviews from drivers claiming they are well-paid.

Besides, Carvertise receives advertising requests from big brands, proving that their existence is legitimate and they are a real company with real clients and people working for them.

On the other hand, Carvertise has received reviews of paint damages on their cars which is why in terms of ratings, Wrapify is significantly higher than that of Carvertise. However, these were sporadic cases, and Carvertise still proved themselves worthy of their driver’s trust. Overall, the company has received ratings of 4.7 out of 5 on Facebook reviews.

Tips to spot car wrap scams

There are a number of scammers out there with different tactics and modus operandi of robbing people who would do everything for their benefit. Below are some tips and tricks to avoid scammers and secure your safety and privacy:

Tip #1: Do Not Accept Paychecks from Strangers

Remember, most wrap companies pay through deposits rather than checks because it is much more convenient. Checks are commonly drawn for huge money transactions that are not deemed safe to be in cash.

Therefore, if some odd stranger comes up and hands you a check as a payment in advance and tells you to deposit the check and pay the wrapping expenses in cash, then know that this is already a RED FLAG.

You are possibly communicating with a scammer. Remember that fake checks bounce a few days after they’re deposited. Thus, the victim would be liable for the cash received.

Tip #2: Communicate with Authorized People

The advent of the pandemic has put a surge in online scamming.

Make sure you’re communicating with the right people through their appropriate websites, application, and help centers since many scammers pretend to be authorized personnel when they aren’t even one in the first place.

Always check and verify their identity for your safety.

Tip #3: Always Be Informed

Read the daily paper for fraud scams and watch the news. If you’re transacting with someone suspicious, always trust your gut and tell them you need time to think the transaction over.

Validate their existence if they are working for the company. Check the website and other internet platforms presented to you. Ensure to read the fine print first; it doesn't hurt to be a skeptic sometimes. Most significantly, don’t be gullible and take caution in trusting people.

Which is better: Wrapify or Carvertise?

carvertise review: photo of crop person driving

Both advertisement companies have had records of positive feedback because they do well in the industry regarding client treatment and treating their drivers; however, choosing which one is better than the other would depend on the consumers themselves.

If you want to earn more than the average and have longer hours of driving, then Wrapify would be the best option. They also have a record of paying drivers well and little to no car damage from advertisement wraps.

Carvertise, on the other hand, has received reviews of paint damages damaging their car from the car wraps. They also pay an average of $100 a month driving around the campaign zone in a 30-mile distance.

Thus, if you’re good with earning a fixed passive income, Carvertise is fit for you. Lastly, choosing which company would depend on consumer preference, personal decision, and experience.

Carvertise Review: Final word

There's no doubt that you incurred expenses every day in either gas or for the car alone, so it wouldn't fare badly to try some of these passive-income methods; to pay for these expenses.

It’s also great to try new things and gain experiences, right? You might be able to meet lovely new people on this platform and make new friends.

Think of it this way, as you continuously use up your car (your asset), it also depreciates over time. So why not make money as you constantly depreciate your asset? Although it may not be money to cover your lifestyle, you can use it for your vehicle expenses and maintenance.

Also, remember that little amounts add up!

If there’s one thing that’s certain with Carvertise is that it’s a legit company that serves clients and pays their drivers properly.

Wrap Cars or advertisements might not work for everyone, but it’s a good passive income that you wouldn’t earn in the first place if you just drive plainly in your car. Do you want to try this Wrap Car method? If so, which company would you prefer?
